Verdis — smart field operations management
A SaaS platform for grounds-maintenance companies: route planning and optimisation, work orders with photo proof from the field and client-ready reporting — all in one place.

The problem it solves
Anyone planning fieldwork for several crews knows the drill: a spreadsheet of deadlines, a map in another tab, gut-feel estimates of what fits into a day, and a month-end scramble of photos and paperwork for the client report. Verdis keeps that whole chain — what is due, who goes where, what was actually done and what gets reported — in a single system. It grew out of real operations: a company mowing hundreds of locations scattered across Croatia.
Web admin for the operations manager
The planning and oversight hub: due work and per-contract season progress at a glance, a map of all locations coloured by contract, type and due status, live crew tracking, and per-contract reports in a couple of clicks — PDF or XLSX with photo documentation and billing of completed work by price list.
Mobile app for the field worker
In the morning the worker opens the phone and sees the day's route, in order, with arrival times. A BEFORE photo is required to start and BEFORE + AFTER to finish a job — the system enforces it, so documentation doesn't depend on discipline. It also scans paper work orders with the camera, records duration, fuel and biomass, reports incidents — and works offline, syncing when the connection returns.
Route planning and optimisation
Drive time is the biggest hidden cost of field crews. The planner turns due dates and contracts into a workable week: allocation across crews and days, real road distances and times, sequence optimisation and a per-day cost in euros — so plan variants are compared by money, not gut feeling. The order is fine-tuned with drag-and-drop, and locations that didn't fit are listed with the reason. One click turns the plan into work orders and routes on the workers' phones.
Status
Verdis is in an invite-only beta, running in production on real maintenance contracts covering 400+ locations across Croatia. A wider launch is in preparation — get in touch for a demo or early access.
